Plant-based dyes
Starting with a study of old recipe books and traditional plant-based dyes, Cariaggi® has created the Systema Naturae® line. The project consists of a range of yarns made entirely using animal fibres, with an eco-friendlier attention to the processing techniques.
Systema Naturae® cashmere, taking its inspiration from tradition, is made using a dyeing process that has cut back on the use of synthetic chemicals in favour of more organic ones, made with plant-based elements created from infusions of roots and berries, made with the very latest technology.
